The Appraisal Foundation has released the Second Exposure Draft to the Real Property Appraiser Qualification Criteria.  The major change is that now as part of the 2 year cycle in which appraisers must take 28 hours of continuing education, 7 hours of USPAP will be required (this was always the case) and now a portion of the remaining 21 hours will be allocated to a valuation bias and fair housing laws and regulations course.

Apparently this will be in addition to the appraisal bias course the state of California already mandates.
